Otago Lumber produces both Pinus Radiata and Douglas Fir solid wood products for distribution into Domestic, Australian, and Asian markets.

Domestic Markets

Otago Lumber offers a wide range of products for local markets consisting of SG and VHG stress graded timber designed for structural use, landscaping and fencing timber such as posts, retaining wall, palings and rails. Most standard sizes are produced on regular basis and we also cut to order when required.

Australian Markets

Otago Lumber has for many years supplied timber into the Australian Cities of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. We specialise in Outdoor Treated Dry Premium Grade products to F5 and F7 specifications. Other products into Australia consist of dressed boards in Clear, Standard, and Merch grades. Otago Lumber uses only reputable shipping lines and transit times range from 2-4 weeks.

Asian Markets

Otago Lumber produces a wide variety of products to Asian markets. Recovery grades such as Pith Free Cut of Log (PF COL), #2 cuttings and better and #3 cuttings are readily available. Clear, Mixed Clear, and Industrial grades are also available in limited volumes. Currently Vietnam is by far our largest destination followed by Malaysia, China, and Taiwan.
